Fine Artist has solo shows in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and else where.

Made In LA. Creator of “Made in LA” program at Art Center and Otis. Visited over 125 companies with students and faculty from above institutions as well as Caltech, UCLA, USC, and SciArc. In addition there was participation by business professionals; industries covered ranged from entertainment to automotive manufacturing.

Material innovations. Developer of Agid Glass, which is glass with micro-etched metals and chemicals embedded in blown and fused glass. Also developed Ink Spots plastics process shown at Material Connexion materials “libraries’ in New York, Milan, Cologne, Munich and Bangkok. Agid Acrylic and Glowing Glass just added will shown at 10 MC locations world wide.

Teaching. Have taught product and transportation designers beginning model construction skills including shop equipment training. Also taught materials class for artists and designers. Taught over 100 sections combined of these two courses.

Design for Developing Nations. Developed an Art Center College of Design “Transdisciplinary” studio class with Ten Thousand Villages, a fair-trade non-profit, to develop toys to be made the villagers. Student work picked for manufacturing: Sri Lanka villagers and went into production. Design had to be simple to manufacture as village only had a bandsaw.

Other student projects created with 3form…materials, Playa Vista… benches, Sonny and Gloria Kamm… Student work purchased from Art Center and Otis, Best product design for the year Surface magazine.
