BIOGRAPHY

Dedicating 50 years to the creative process–my art is founded in the romantic tradition of Emerson and Whitman, the American architecture of Sullivan, Wright and Goff, and the spatial grandeur of the American West. The big open sounds of Copeland, Shaker melodies, the sound of the metallicas, the excitement and magic of the drum in its spatial architectural rhythm form, the bass vibration of sound where bow contacts string derived from the written language of music—all of this is inspiration for my art. The sheer excitement of all world history with images and sounds—this is my oyster.  Architecture is metaphor.
